How to Install Luxa Users — User Switching

Luxa Users — User Switching is an add-on that sits on top of the Luxa Users ecosystem. Make sure the following are in place before installing:

Important: You need an active Luxa Users Pro license before this add-on will function. The add-on has its own separate license — purchasing Pro does not automatically unlock it.

After purchasing a license at luxapress.com, download the .zip file from your account dashboard or from the purchase confirmation email.

The file will be named: luxa-users-user-switching-x.x.x.zip

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
3. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
4. Choose the .zip file you downloaded and click Install Now.
5. Once installed, click Activate Plugin.

Alternatively, you can extract the zip and upload the luxa-users-user-switching/ folder to /wp-content/plugins/ via FTP, then activate from the Plugins screen.

After activation, go to your WordPress admin sidebar. You should see User Switching listed under the Luxa Users menu group.

If the menu item does not appear, check:

• Luxa Users (Free) is installed and active.
• Luxa Users Pro is installed, active, and has a valid license.
• No plugin conflict is preventing the add-on from loading (check Tools → Site Health for errors).

The add-on will not function until you activate your license. See the Activation Guide for step-by-step instructions.

When a new version is available, an update notification will appear in Dashboard → Updates — the same as any other WordPress plugin. Click Update Now to apply it automatically.

Automatic updates require an active license key. If your license has expired, updates will no longer be delivered.

To completely remove the plugin and all its data:

1. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
2. Deactivate Luxa Users — User Switching.
3. Click Delete.

WordPress will run the uninstall routine, which removes:

• Your license key and license status
• All switch log entries
• The scheduled license verification task

No core Luxa Users data is touched during uninstall.
