Which WordPress versions are supported? Luxa Booking requires WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 8.1+.

What’s the difference between Free and Pro? Free covers the entire booking flow itself (services, staff, availability, the booking form, email confirmation, cancellation) with no limits. Pro doesn’t add booking-flow features on its own — it unlocks three official add-ons (Google Calendar, SMS Reminders, Zoom Meetings). How many sites can I use 1 Pro license on? Depends on your plan — see your license count at Luxa Booking → License after activating, or check your plan details at luxapress.com/my-account.

Can I move my license to a different site? Yes — deactivate it on the old site first (Luxa Booking → License → Deactivate on this domain), then activate it on the new site with the same key. See the Installation & License Setup Guide for the full walkthrough.

What happens if my license expires? The plugin and any installed add-ons keep working with your last-downloaded version — nothing stops functioning. You’ll stop receiving updates and support until you renew.

Do I need to keep the Free plugin installed after buying Pro? Yes — Pro is built as an addition to Free, not a replacement. Free must stay active for Pro (and any add-on) to work.

Are add-ons included with Pro, or sold separately? Included. All three official add-ons (Google Calendar, SMS Reminders, Zoom Meetings) unlock automatically once your Pro license is active on the site — there’s no separate purchase and no separate license key for any of them.

I installed an add-on but its settings screen says I need Pro — why? The add-on only activates its features once an active Luxa Booking Pro license is detected on the site. Activate your Pro license first (see Installation & License Setup Guide), then the add-on’s settings screen will appear normally — no reinstall needed.

Can I use an add-on without Pro? No — all three add-ons require an active Pro license to function (the free Stripe Payments add-on is the one exception — it doesn’t require Pro at all).

Where is my data stored? Services, staff, availability, and bookings live in their own dedicated database tables (created by the core plugin on activation). Add-on settings (e.g. Stripe/Twilio/Zoom/Google credentials) and a small amount of per-booking metadata (e.g. the generated Zoom link, the synced Google Calendar event ID) are stored as standard WordPress options.

Does Luxa Booking work with multisite? Not officially tested. If you’re running a multisite network, note in particular that uninstalling a plugin network-wide currently only cleans up the site the uninstall hook happens to run on, not every site in the network — plan uninstalls accordingly on a multisite install.

Is Luxa Booking GDPR compliant? The booking form includes a configurable consent checkbox, and data retention settings are available under Settings → GDPR. Whether your overall use of the plugin is fully GDPR-compliant also depends on your own privacy policy, data-processing agreements with any add-ons you use (Stripe, Twilio, Google, Zoom each process data under their own terms), and configuration — Luxa Booking provides the tools, it doesn’t make that determination for you.
