Luxa Kanvia Pro — Changelog

• Improved: Dashboard visual polish — the welcome panel and its 3 feature callouts now read as one seamless card instead of two separately-floating pieces; widget cards get slightly more rounded corners to match.

• Fixed: the sidebar’s “Collapse Menu” arrow now actually flips direction when you collapse/expand the sidebar (it always worked, the icon just never visibly rotated before).
• Improved: removed a redundant “Luxa Kanvia” label that repeated above every single page’s title without adding any information — pages now have a bit more breathing room.

• Added: the Dashboard was significantly expanded — a dark welcome panel with 3 quick-start callouts, plus new widgets: License Status (a status ring showing Active/Expired/Inactive and your activation count), At a Glance (board/task/add-on/module counts and an update nag), Quick Task (create a task without leaving the Dashboard), and Plugin & Add-on Versions (see all your update status in one place). The previous “Due Soon & Overdue” and “Recent Activity” widgets are now combined into one Activity widget.

• Improved: the Add-ons screen now clearly distinguishes “not purchased yet” from “purchased but the license key expired/is missing” from “installed and up to date” — each state shows its own clear status and next action, and update-available detection reuses WordPress’s own update-checking mechanism (so it’s always accurate).
• Fixed: a misleading “Free” label that could appear on a paid add-on card.
• Fixed: the unlock/license-key popup rendering with broken, sideways layout on some sites — caused by a naming clash with an unrelated internal style; the popup now always renders correctly regardless of what else is installed.
• Improved: if an installed add-on’s license has expired or was never entered, the Add-ons screen now links straight to the right purchase/renewal page (Pro renewal vs. an add-on’s own renewal) instead of a dead-end popup.

• Added: Board Permissions module — the ninth bundled module. Assign per-board roles (Owner, Manager, Member, Viewer) to control who can see and act on a board. Ships off by default — enable it from the Modules screen once you’ve assigned at least one member to each board you want to restrict.

• Added: Gantt now supports task dependencies — link a task to another it depends on, see the relationship drawn as an arrow on the chart, and moving a task automatically shifts anything that depends on it to stay consistent.

• Added: Notifications module — a bell icon in the top bar for in-app alerts (assigned to a task, someone commented on a task you’re assigned to), plus a full Notifications history page.
• Fixed: the notification bell icon rendering invisible on some sites, and the notification dropdown showing itself on page load instead of only when clicked.
• Added: a proper brand icon for the top bar logo, replacing a plain placeholder.

• Added: Dashboard module — the cross-board overview screen, with 3 starter widgets (Due Soon & Overdue, My Tasks, Recent Activity). Time Tracking and Client Portal each add their own widget to it automatically once active.

• Added: AI Assistant module — a button in the task detail view that suggests a checklist based on the task’s title and description, using your own OpenAI API key.

• Added: Gantt module — a timeline-bar view of a board’s tasks; drag a bar to move it, or drag either edge to change just the start or due date.

• Added: Calendar module — a month view of every task with a due date, across all your boards.
• Fixed: disabling a module didn’t fully hide its settings tab, page, or sidebar link — you’d still be able to reach a “disabled” feature’s page even though it no longer worked. Disabled modules now disappear from navigation entirely.

• Added: Client Portal module — generate a read-only, shareable link to a board for clients, no WordPress login required on their end.
• Fixed: on some sites, the Client Portal’s board picker showed blank entries instead of board names (both the admin picker and, potentially, the public share page itself).
• Fixed: a missing-database-table issue that could occur if Pro was installed before a specific earlier update — affected sites now get the correct tables automatically on the next update, no manual step needed.

• Added: Custom Fields module — define your own Dropdown, Date, Checkbox, or Number fields, which then appear on every task.
• Fixed: turning a module off on the Modules screen could silently revert back to “on” after a page refresh.
• Fixed: the “Deactivate this domain” button on the License settings page (used when you’ve hit your activation limit) didn’t do anything when clicked.
• Rewrote add-on licensing to match our official add-on store: each add-on is now separately licensed with its own key, rather than being auto-unlocked by your Pro license — see the Installation & License Setup Guide.

• Added: Time Tracking module — start/stop a timer on any task, or log time manually.
• Fixed: a translation-loading warning that could appear in some WordPress debug logs.
• Fixed: the Modules and Add-ons screens not rendering inside the normal Luxa Kanvia layout (sidebar/top bar) on some sites.

• Fixed: the “PRO” badge and the full Pro interface could fail to appear even with a valid, active license, on certain server configurations.
