Overview

Luxa Mailbox Pro extends the free Luxa Mailbox plugin from a single personal mailbox into a full multi-account inbox your whole team can work from — right inside WordPress, no separate webmail login, no extra software. Connect every mailbox your business uses (support@, sales@, billing@…), assign messages to the right person, track status, leave internal notes, save canned replies, and extend it further with official add-ons — all from the same familiar wp-admin you already live in.

Requires the free Luxa Mailbox plugin (installed separately, no cost) — Pro is the add-on that turns it into a team tool.

Key Features

Multiple mailboxes, one screen Connect as many IMAP/SMTP accounts as you need and switch between them instantly from a single dropdown — folders, message list, and reading pane all update together. No more logging in and out of separate webmail tabs for every department address.

Assign + Status Turn any shared inbox into a lightweight support queue. Assign a message to a teammate and mark it Open, Pending, or Resolved — see it all at a glance with color-coded badges right in the message list, so your team always knows what’s outstanding and who owns it.

Internal Notes Leave context on any message that’s never sent to the customer — “called them back, waiting on Tuesday”, “escalated to billing”. A running thread per message, visible to your whole team, with your name and timestamp automatically attached.

Canned Responses Save the answers you type most — a refund policy, a shipping FAQ, a standard greeting — and insert them into any reply with one click from a dropdown right in the compose window. Stop retyping the same answer for the tenth time this week.

Test connection, instantly Verify IMAP and SMTP settings with one click, right from the account form — no need to save first, works the moment you start typing a new account.

Requirements

• The free Luxa Mailbox plugin, installed and active

• PHP 7.4+ with the imap extension enabled (standard on virtually all WordPress hosting)
• An existing mailbox with IMAP/SMTP access (your own hosting email, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, etc.)
