Luxa Booking Pro is required to run any official Luxa Booking add-on (Google Calendar, SMS Reminders, Zoom Meetings) and adds a refined admin dashboard.
Description
Luxa Booking’s free plugin already handles the entire booking flow — services, staff, availability, the booking form, confirmations, cancellations — with no limits, forever. Luxa Booking Pro doesn’t add new booking features on its own. Its job is simpler and more foundational: it’s the license layer every official add-on checks before it will run.
If you’re installing Google Calendar sync, SMS Reminders, or Zoom Meetings, you need Luxa Booking Pro active and licensed underneath them. Each of those add-ons still has its own license — Pro is the base they all stand on, not a bundle that includes them.
On top of that, Pro gives your admin a visual upgrade: a proper dashboard shell with a collapsible sidebar and a cleaner layout, replacing the plain default admin screens. It’s the same functionality underneath, just presented the way a paid tool should look.
What Pro actually gives you
A dashboard that looks like a real product. Topbar, collapsible sidebar, cleaner navigation — the same pages you already know, laid out properly. Your sidebar state is remembered per user, so it stays how you left it.
The foundation every add-on needs. Without Pro active and licensed, none of the official add-ons will run — even if that add-on’s own license key is valid. Think of Pro as the gate they all sit behind.
One license, one place to manage it. Activate, check status, and renew from a single License screen in your WordPress admin — no separate account dashboards to juggle.
What Pro does not include
To be upfront: Google Calendar sync, SMS Reminders, and Zoom Meetings are not included with Pro. Each is sold and licensed separately. Pro is what lets them run once you’ve bought them — not a way to get them for free by buying Pro alone.

FAQ
Do I need Pro if I only want the free Stripe Payments add-on? No. Stripe Payments is free and works independently — no Pro license needed.
If I buy Pro, do I get Google Calendar, SMS, or Zoom included? No — each of those is a separate product with its own license. Pro is what lets an already-licensed add-on actually run.
What happens if my Pro license expires but an add-on’s license is still valid? That add-on will show a “Renew Pro license” prompt rather than working normally — it needs both licenses valid, not just its own. Your dashboard also reverts to the plain default layout until Pro is active again.
Can I use Pro standalone, without any add-ons? Yes — you’ll get the dashboard upgrade (FancySkin) with nothing else to unlock. Most people buy Pro at the same time as their first add-on.
